IBERDROLA abusive practices

For some years, the electricity company IBERDROLA, through its distribution company, issues invoices to its customers for exorbitant amounts accusing them of having carried out a manipulation in their meter and having carried out a consumption higher than the subscriber, so that the company electric practices a subjective regularization in electricity consumption during the period in which the consumer has supposedly carried out the manipulation of the meter and until it has been detected. In most cases these invoices are accompanied by a very brief report of the technical inspection carried out unilaterally and without prior notice to the consumer, so it cannot be present and contrast the information. Thus, the consumer, totally uninformed of the rights he has in front of the company, is in a position of submission at the mercy of what is stated in the technical report, having to face, against his will, the payment of the amount that the The company has decided to impose at its discretion, because the non-payment of the bill entails cutting the electricity supply depriving it of its basic needs.

The significant thing is that the holder of the contract is accused by the company without any evidence and must assume the guilt until proven otherwise. Surprisingly, most of the invoices they issue amount to around € 2500, which obliges the consumer to go to the Courts with the assistance of a lawyer and represented by an attorney, making the costs more expensive and thus making it more difficult for the consumer to go to the Courts , given that in addition to having to pay those legal costs, they are obliged to pay the cost of the bill to avoid the cost of electricity supply and therefore even if they are unfair they pay the bill and do not claim.

Faced with this situation, the consumer tries by all possible means to contact the electric company asking for explanations and above all, evident evidence of the accusation made on him, without obtaining any response from the electric company, who acts in a totally authoritarian way granting him a term to pay the invoice, warning that otherwise the supply will be cut.

This office is acting in defense of those consumers. If you are in this situation, we can help you.
